Purani Haveli

Purani Haveli was erected in the 19th century by Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah’s Peshwa. U-shaped with a single-story central building. Asaf Jha II bought this ancient structure, and the Nizam of Hyderabad refurbished it in the 18th century. This haveli is now a Nizam’s Museum containing artefacts.

Laad Bazaar

Laad Bazaar is next to Charminar and famous for bangles. Four Charminar pathways are a kilometre long. This market dates back to the Qutub Shahis and Nizams. Named because it’s one of the greatest places to buy lacquer bangles.

Durgam Cheruvu

Durgam Cheruvu is a lake near Hi-Tech City. It’s called the secret lake since it’s buried between granite rocks. The 63-acre lake is surrounded by 2500 million-year-old rocks. Locals say Golconda fort drank lake water. One can do pedal boating, camping, and lake-trekking.

Gandipet Lake

Hyderabad and Secunderabad’s main reservoir is Gandipet. The 46-km lake was established by Hyderabadi Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan to prevent flooding. 1920’s reservoir offers a beautiful sunset.
