In this article I am going to share my experiences as a shop owner and give you some helpful tips that might help you grow your business and make more sales. I’ve tried many different things in my years of shop ownership and I can honestly say, it’s no easy task! There are many little things that are easy to do, that may seem insignificant to some people, but will greatly increase your customer appeal & potential sales. So here we go…
1- CHANNEL LETTERS ON A MONUMENT SIGN
This is one of my favorite business signage ideas, especially for retailers. If you’re a retailer and your store has limited visibility on a busy street or road, channel letters are an awesome way to make sure drivers can see your storefront from far away. These signs also look great on buildings that have well-designed architecture—it’s an awesome accent to really make a building pop.
2- INTERIOR SIGN DISPLAYING YOUR RATING
Small business owners and entrepreneurs have dozens of things to keep track of in their everyday lives. From marketing to accounting, and from staffing to sales, it can be hard to juggle everything on your own. With so many tasks vying for your attention at once,. One of the biggest mistakes you can make is trying to juggle too much on your own; if you’re spread too thin, you might find yourself sinking beneath a mountain of stress without even realizing it.
3- DONOR WALL DISPLAYS
A donor wall is a unique way to display names of donors, clients and other contributors to your business. It’s also an opportunity to show off some personality through lists of job titles, nicknames or even how much money was raised. Done well, it can be a powerful element in any commercial or office space. What better way to celebrate your community of supporters?
4- MODERN SIGN & FROSTED LETTERS
These are a popular option as they give you lots of room to create a beautiful sign using modern fonts and stylish calligraphy. The frosted acrylic allows you to write on it with dry erase markers. Which is really useful if you have more than one person in your business (or if you ever change your message!). They’re available in various sizes, and prices.
See some examples here.
5- DOUBLE SIDED FLOOR SIGNS / FOLDING SIGNS: If you want something that takes up less space but can still be seen from outside. Consider getting a double sided floor sign or folding signs. There are plenty of options for both – for example wooden foldable signs come in two parts so that they can easily be folded away when not needed; plus there’s no need to buy an expensive stand – just lean them against something or prop them up against each other!
5- ILLUMINATED LETTERS WITH RUSTIC MENU
A rustic restaurant offers a homey and inviting place to spend an evening with friends and family. The inside décor is warm and welcoming with copper pots hanging from chain and candelabras illuminating both tables and walls. Surrounding all of these candles is wrought iron fencing, giving off a definite historic feel. The entrees are scrumptious home-cooked meals that have been on each menu for many years and customers return time after time for them.
6- SIGNAGE DISPLAYING MULTIPLE BRANDS
Businesses with multiple brands can display each line of clothing and accessories, or a particular style within a brand. A women’s clothing store might use different sign displays for summer clothes and winter clothes; an electronics store might display laptops, cell phones, and other devices on separate displays. Product advertising doesn’t have to be limited to floor signs; shop sign board lettering can show off all of your merchandise!
