Create a custom home page with shopware Customization
To create a custom home page with shopware customization services, you have to log in to the admin page. And then go to the Shopware 6 Dashboard and click on the Content>Shopping Experiences menu.
Creating a New Layout
To create a new layout, open the shopping experience page, and then click on create new layout button. you will get a selection of the page type for which you want to create a layout. you can choose different blocks (Shop page, landing & listing page) depending on the type.
Shop page: All service pages of your shop are to be understood as shop pages. These include, for example, the general terms, and the contact form.
Landing page: Landing pages offer you a wide range of design and marketing options in your shop. These can be theme pages.
Listing page: This page automatically includes a product listing.
Section type
Once you have decided on a type, you can choose how the section of the layout should be structured. You can use a layout with a sidebar or alternatively the full page width. After selecting the layout enter the layout name.
Layout editor
Here you can see the central editing area for your layout. And the menu bar is located on the right-hand side. These are divided into the areas of Settings, Blocks, and Navigator.
Create a custom home page
Now let’s see the process of how to add images and text as block categories in the central editing area.
Here select the image as a block category then drag and drop the block images. After that fill in the required fields. In it, you can also add the text, text & images together by Drag and Drop.
Above you can see the attachment of images, text, and text&images.
Assign layout
Now navigate to the path Catalogue>category. And click on the edit button of the catalog. Here assign the created layout under layout assignment.
Front end
After that refresh the front end page you will see the changes that you have performed.
